Life and stuff.
Work hired a nurse to come in today for our flu vaccination. Dammit.. I should not have had that injection as am rarely sick /knocks on wood. Anyways I have a left jelly arm and have had sugar all day to keep me feeling not so fainted.
So my dam cookies didn't turn out presentable, but apparently they were delicious... o.O The competition was held in the kitchen and I was at my desk hiding to save myself the embarasment.
On the topic of food, Betty came by today with some yummy banana muffins (They taste like banana) Thanks, Betty. I had one but am saving the second one for lunch tomorrow.

It's Jannet's birthday today so I got her a jar of lollies

Was totally freaked from watching Wolfcreek. Quite dissapointing really.. that it was "based on true events" such case like Murdoch (Speaking of this, I might use this as my case law for my assignment). Anyways, I vow to never watch horror movies ever again!
On a different note, here's a cool photo :-)

Some gayness.
We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we're frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We'll certainly be happy when they're out of that stage.
We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.
The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when?
Our lives will always be filled with challenges. It is best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
One of my favourite quotes comes from Alfred D. Souza. He said "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid.
Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life".
This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness.
Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with... and remember that time waits for no one.
So, stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you're off welfare, until the first of fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered, until you die, until you're born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy.

Finally replaced a new kodak camera with the one i broke for rob.
From observation, I think that kodak has the fastest shutter speed than any other standardised digital camera. I have compared a cheap kodak (worth $87) to cameras, worth over $200 (canon, sony etc), it was kodak that had won the fastest shutter speed of less than 1 second. You will notice that kodak are not frequent in producing cameras and that none of them are covered with metal material, but rather plastic, as such they are not making much business in sales.
If you have come across any standardised digital camera with a shutter speed of less than 1 second, please let me know! Would like to hear from you.

hey guys, would love it if you could vote for me at general pants :)
It's not the best art work I have done, but that's all I have at the moment.
I love glamour shots of people. This is the sort of theme (below) I would love to get into as a photographer. Something so wonderfully quirky.. strange.. queer, a fetish.

2009
wow. a year has passed and another one has just begun.

While I was at the beach today, i thought about creating a list of goals, which i plan on endeavoring for the year.
1. Create a list of top 50 things to do before late
- #dine in on new restaurants as per week or/fortnight (depending on income)
*note that i have had recently started on this idea. so far, i am really favoring turkish char grill meat. totally yummy!!
- #sunbake topless on the beach, before laws apply
- #send a message in a bottle
- #go scuba diving
- #take advantage of the weather for now in going to different beaches - manly/bondi/maroubra are artificial looking developed beaches. they seriously suck, or maybe i just don't appreciate man made.
- #go on more weekend trips like hunter valley, take moree baths, the gong etc.
2. try and attend evening classes (study) after work
3. have more protein in me
4. put in more effort to maintain relationships with friends
5. keep occupying and making my life as busy as it is
6. spend less and save more for a home
7. maybe take up creative writing skills course, as time passes my writing skill becomes rusty.
8. finish reading my dam twilight book by stephanie myers
9. hmm... cut my hair short, as i've always wanted to do this (i have noticed that i receive more compliments with short hair, than long, which was grown a few years back)
10. learn how to make a video with imac
11. meet more potential good friends.
12. learn to tolerate and be more patient with others
they are some of the few :)
to end this post, here are two photos, one of my initials shown in the sky and me with a beer (coke) cap, which was a quirky gift from tom. thanks, tombo!
